A week old: Josephine, Strawberry, & Lawlor TR 11/22/200
Cool hike. I think you did the right thing by going up Colby Canyon. If you thought that short stretch up to the summit of Josephine was boring, try doing the entire trip to the summit that way. 
Yeah, that S "ridge" of Lawlor is nasty, but it does cut a lot of mileage out.
Very cool that you got a ride although I think the relatively short hike down hill from Red Box to Switzers isn't that bad. It's the climb out of Switzers to the ACH that I find annoying.
