That must be the Summer pic. It sure is current. I think Simonov took it last Sunday! Too bad it's hard for Taco to change it often. but this one is so cool. it has it all!

Nah, I figured out how to change it. If bothered to change it too often, I will change it to reflect whatever random thought comes into my head at that moment, be it a bus full of clowns going over a jump, or a hamburger. Or, Twin Peaks. Or, a metaphorical Twin Peaks.

I put up a shot I took of the Bowl a while ago.
If anyone has a cool submission that has some writing in it (photosh00p skillzZ), post it here.
Since it's hot out right now, a picture that evokes a cool, mountain environment is preferred. 8)

I'm not even sure I know what you're talken about. Are you talking about the picture that is next to the "San Gabriel Mountains Discussion Forum" title of this board?
Are you looking for a "non" snowy picture of something in the San Gabriels for the spring, summer, fall months?
I just saw Rick Kent's TR of his Iron Mtn to Baldy traverse. He's got like 200 shots. Some of them are really nice. maybe you can ask him for one of his pictures. Take a look at image #8655 and #8674. It's only one of several dozen that are nice.

I think a snowy one is a nice change of pace.

It's a nice shot: the cloud and shadows are cool. . .

Good pic, especially the 'clipless' shoes that double as ski boots.

(dang, I know lift tickets are getting pricey, but isn't riding a bike up to the lifts going a little too far?!?

YO
FWI, if anyone wants to submit a new header picture, 450x150 pixels is the best size, JPEG format. Bonus points if it says 'SGMDF' or something snazzy and relevant on it.
