I actually bought one pair first and took them out for a scramble in the Sierra and loved them - they stick really good and they seem to be durable. Then I bought the second pair; so I paid some extra on shipping than I had too. I have heard that five ten shoes can run small; so I ordered 1/2 size bigger than my street shoes and they fit pretty good. I don't know how long they will last - most of the time shoes with sticky soles don't hold up as long but they sure do make it safer out there. I'll still wear my Brooks running shoes when I'm sticking to the trail.
