I'm not accusing Squatchy of anything, but it's a fact that he can leap from tree to tree while carrying a small woman. Has anyone pursued this possibility?Matthew wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 10:03 amSean you have the ability to bring sasquatch into this Convo and it might actually be credible lol

That reads exactly like some AI-narrated YouTube videos I've watched. I mean the grammar, cadence, etc.mikeywally wrote: Fri Mar 27, 2026 5:53 pm https://thesentinel.network/p/the-green ... d?r=71h4we

I'm not familiar with the trail she was on, I haven't really looked into this, etc etc. However, my Jonathan Creek-y possibilities include she was never there, her fellow hikers were involved in her disappearing (either against her will or to help her out), she was snatched by a foreign power (there are a lot of espionage agents around), she was taken care of by Sinister Government Forces, or she just disappeared on her own to start a new life, because she feared something, to take part in a special govt project, to join some sort of witness protection program, etc.

Hey everyone, we were invited to post here, so we wanted to introduce ourselves and, more importantly, say thank you.
We're The Sentinel Network on Substack. Some of you may have come across our ATTRITION series, which covers the Reza case alongside several other disappearances in the defense aerospace space. We publish anonymously and have been covering this space since late 2025.
We want to be upfront about something: we haven't come to any hard conclusions about what happened to Monica. We try to follow the evidence, document the anomalies, and try not to speculate.
We want to be upfront about something: the work this community has done was instrumental in getting this story to national news. The searches. The maps. The timelines. The documentation of search route management. The firsthand site visits. That is real investigative work. Granular, on-the-ground efforts can't be replicated from behind a screen. When we were building out the evidentiary chain for our articles, the detailed record you all built here was a critical resource.
The fact that CNN, NewsNation, Newsweek, and others eventually picked up this thread is not an accident. It happened because people here cared enough to document what they were seeing with discipline and specificity.
Thank you for the invite to post. And thank you for what you've done for Monica's case.

Congressman Calls for FBI Help Over Missing General, Scientists
Published Mar 31, 2026 at 12:26 PM EDT
Representative Eric Burlison, a Missouri Republican, said he has requested the involvement of the FBI in the “deeply concerning” disappearances of a retired general and a scientist with links to advanced research.
...
Any concrete connection between the cases remains unclear. The Sheriff's Department previously told Newsweek that detectives were “looking into this to see if there is any connection at all." “It’s remarkable that General McCasland apparently walked out of his home, left all of his devices and never came back,” Burlison told Fox News. “And Monica Reza, she was on a hike as well and mysteriously disappeared. And I’ve heard of others…

Representative Eric Burlison, a Missouri Republican, on X on Monday: “The disappearance of multiple scientists and military personnel with ties to advanced research is deeply concerning. I’ve already requested FBI involvement, and we will keep pressing for answers.”

It's been tough for anyone to get accurate information even in the beginning of Monica's disappearance. But your article mentions "mapped every search track on CalTopo to prevent overlap across a 40 to 50 mile radius". Not sure where this information is from. The Sentinel Network wrote: Sat Mar 28, 2026 11:46 pm Hey everyone, we were invited to post here, so we wanted to introduce ourselves and, more importantly, say thank you.

The helicopter searches went about 6 miles south of Monica's last known position but ground searchers never went more than about 3.5 miles radius from her last known position. And that's a radius of West, East, and South (only about 1.5 mile radius northbound). Volunteer searchers did try to search both sides of Angeles Crest Highway for about 5 miles in each direction from the trailhead. So it seems the 40 to 50 mile radius mentioned is highly inaccurate.

To add to this, my map on caltopo that's linked to your blog, is only updated when someone emails me to texts me their track. I downloaded the search group's maps occasionally before they made them all private. After they made them public, I reached out to all members of the whatsapp group to email me their future tracks for their searches so I can add them to the map. I only got a few responses, but I plan on continuing to add tracks, even if they're uploaded just to strava or something.RH wrote: Thu Apr 02, 2026 10:52 am

Also, there was TONS of overlap over previous searches and even more overlap after they made the maps public. For a few weeks after the maps were public, new searches weren't being had in zones previously un searched.
