With the weather about to turn...it's time to hit the trails again...can we get some cooler temperatures? I am sure the veterans here recognize where I made it to today.

You’re either right on the idlehour trail after you hit it’s high point which is maybe 1/4mile from the trailhead orrrr you’re on that spot just north west of henninger where that palm tree kinda is

You got it! I was dropping down to Idlehour from Henninger side. I couldn’t believe how many peaks I was able to capture in one shot. There was a section of trail so thick with little acorns I was slipping and sliding. Lot of different scat along the way too.

Next time I need to bring enough food to sustain a 10+ mile hike…

I've gotten to know that view into Eaton Canyon well, and its a special one. The first time I saw it I was with our very own Sean and told him it was the best canyon view I'd seen in the Gabes. I think it still is. This is my favorite photo of it I took a couple months ago.
