Pretty amazing that I took a picture 2010-07-10 from the exact spot.

It's the exciting section of that ridge. Probably many people have that photo. And Elwood knew exactly where it was :)

The first time I was on this trail (around 1989'ish), it was at this point on the trail when some hotshot pilot out of Vandeburg in some fighter jet flew directly over me at mach 50 or whatever. I never heard him coming. He came from the west and was maybe 100' - 200' above the ridge. The sound nearly knocked me to my knees. That WAS exciting indeed.

Maybe there should be a separate thread devoted to this particular spot on the trail. ?

It looks like the scree ascending falling rock up to Sugarloaf

Ok I usually don't play but I'll guess one more since I'm bored. The trail by Mount Williamson. Pleasant view ridge.

You're very close, but not exactly Williamson.

Looks like the traverse from Willliamson to Pallett. You're approaching Pallett (center). Will Thrall is behind and left.

Uncle Rico you are very close too. Here's a probably-too-obscure hint "53-3195" .

You're at the C-119 debris field looking back toward Williamson?

Try again, Cecelia. The picture must have a trail in it--a trail that has an official or popular name that we can guess. I moved your peak picture (and the guesses) to this thread.
