Taco, the Los Angeles Mycological Society is having its annual fair virtual this year. It is on the 14th and there will be a session on growing mushrooms. I think the information is up on the website now.
I would like to attend one of the in person ones next chance I get with my girl. She got me into mushrooms. Now we are mega hard into em. Hopefully that happens soon enough.
I'll likely be in the middle of nowhere on the 14th, praying to the gods of vast open areas. Cheers!

not much out yet. it has been quite dry. there are a few corts here and there and some jack-o-lanterns. we need rain and there is none n the forecast.

What would happen if I ate these?
This is not a mushroom that I know off hand. Also would want a clear view of the stalk and the gills. But to answer your question one or more of the following three things
1. you will die
2. you will wish you were dead
3. you will have eaten a mushroom that is not tasty
so a very bad idea
