Guess I'm up.
Name the peak. Hint: it isn't Bob.
First image it the peak. Second image is a summit view looking southeast-ish.

I should have mentioned, this peak is in the ANF, but technically not the San Gabes.

Can you throw a football over it?
No clue - not San Gabes.

I've never been there, but based on your clue I'll guess Red Mtn. Hagar is the "Red Rocker."

A very early live version of "Red."

That's some sweet rock n' roll. You inspired me to pop my copy of "The Essential Red Collection" into the CD player.

I saw Sammy play at Day On The Green in Oakland - July 4, 1980. Triumph, REO Speedwagon, Sammy and Blue Oyster Cult. I lost the shirt a few years ago.

Here's an easy one. Bonus: where am I standing? Extra credit: what year was it?

Yale, Harvard, Wilson, Occidental from Zion ? Looks a little pre-Station Fire so I'll guess pre August 2009.

You got the easy parts but not the hard parts. Any more guesses?

You're on Clamshell not Zion I think.
In the year 2525...

Yes, though you're still a little off with the year. Zion can be seen below Wilson. And there is another peak visible, which should give you a clue to the year.

I suppose I forgot to mention Strawberry, Lawlor, Barley Flat. I also take back the pre 2009 year guess. Barley Flat appears to have its Station Fire haircut but not the later one. I'll guess 2012-ish.

What Elwood said, but I think closer to 2009.

Yep, 2011. I'll give it to you, Elwood, since you're one year closer.

Hikeup?
Or anyone not named Elwood?
Maybe someone can post a crazy hard one with little context, and we can play twenty questions, like what's happening on the other thread.

This evening perhaps. I lost all pics of my last Strawberry Peak hike. Damnit. Had a good one in mind from that set.
