I went up Mystic Canyon and Punkout with the intention to do a little cleanup, when I was there in December there were a couple of trees/bushes blocking off the trail. However, after visiting the summit of 2760 I found out that someone had beat me to it. I still trimmed a few branches that I had to duck under along the way. It was a nice day out, cool breeze but warm in the sun on the lee side of the mountain.

Punkout junction, it heads up fairly steep but then gives up all the elevation gain. Steep again before rejoining the regular trail.

Summit of Peak 2670, I had a pop-tart break up here.

North view, in December it was all snow up there in the higher peaks.

I used to go up there after work and hike both poop out and punk out trails and descend mystic trail. It's a good little workout. Poop out gets washed out alot. It's nice to see all that green. Thanks for the update on the trail. I didnt know that little peak was named 2670. When I would go up there I had to bushwack through thick brush. Guess it's clear now. Thanks for the pics.
