this gem this morning.

And, dude, all I'm thinking about now is "Boundary Saddle." Did you make that up? It's killing me.

Yeah I made it up but... there is a boundary there or nearly so between La city and Glendale city
There is a metal post with the boundary put there many years ago by the Los Angles County Fire Warden / Forester
There are similar posts throughout the verdugos

Matt, it would be nice to have a list of all the NHPS saddles in SoCal. Clearly I'm missing out on most of the fun. Usually I hit a saddle and have no clue about its historical significance or unofficial name.

It's a separate section. HSS (Hundred Saddles Section) . NHPS is Near Hundred Peaks Section
