Hastings Peak & Jones Peak: 05-31-2008

Did a quick hike up to Hastings and Jones Peaks this morning via Bailey Canyon trail. Above the cabin ruins, the trail is a bit over grown with grasses and stuff - should die back during the summer I think. No bugs, skeeters, dinosaurs, etc.

The fire made it to within about 50 yards of Jones Peak.

Thanks for the report and pics. Bailey Canyon is one of my favorite short hikes and great for a trail run. But you didn't see any dinosaurs? Maybe you were distracted and didn't notice.

No liopleurodon, but I did see a rather annoyed unicorn named Charlie.

Seriously...where do you go hiking Tim? I'll try to avoid those areas
