I summited the Grand Teton in Wyoming 9-7-2012 with Exum Mountain Guides out of Jackson WY.
Climbed with an old buddy Dave, and his old-time buddy Gary. The summit-guide was Scott.
This was up the Owens Spalding route.
Best Regards and cheers,
Steve

Thanks lilbitmo
August would be much more enjoyable. It was perfect weather in Jackson Hole for the 5 days leading up to the actual climb.
Also, we took the two day training class prior to the climb (everyone has their own lingo and different "best" methods). At the end of the second day of training the guide rates your group as to which route you are fit for. We were fit for a little harder climb like the Exum Ridge route. But the weather change on the way up put everyone on the Owens Spalding route for summit day due to the snow and ice which was present.
Cheers
