Anyone have any recent (late March early April) information on conditions in the Mt. Waterman area - snow? no snow? ice?

Might head that way this Saturday. PM if interested. Open for other options too! :D

I was up there last Saturday and did the 6 mile loop. The road was generally clear up to the ski lift. Beyond the ski lift snow was 6-12 inches deep and very soft and slushy. The trail was a mix of ice and snow but was easy to follow. There appeared to have been plenty of traffic.

We took our time and spent some time at the summit and were in and out in a leisurely 4 hours.

Went up on 04-07-2012 - less snow than what DukeJH described. Find a link to pictures in the short report I put in the TR section.
