I know this has nothing to do with mountain creatures, but I thought I should share it with you guys anyways. Maybe you will like it.

I am conducting an experiment on my frog Dr. Rodney Dangerfield who recently passed. Rodney was 12 human years old, maybe the longest living south american horned frog known to man. I am guessing he died of a heart attack.

The experiment involves burying him for about 6 months, digging him up, and then piecing his bones back together, thus, bringing him back to life. I thought it would be a good Halloween project. Pictures will be taken during each step of the process and posted.

Take subject out of freezer bag.

Place subject in cup with hole on the bottom.

Cover with dirt.

Dig hole and place subject in temporary grave.

Wood-burn a grave stone made of a gourd and wait till the subject's flesh is decomposed.

See you in six months!

No, I didn't realize that there were lawyers off the coast.

Awww, Mr. Rodney. Sorry about your frog friend. :(

I was thinking this was kinda twisted, but the same sort of thing happens in my fish tank all the time. One of my snails died the other day... I didn't have to feed the Hermit Crabs all week! Also, someone gets a new brand new home.

It has been a while. I recently dug up the frog. All of the bigger bones were intact, but the smaller and cartilage bones where gone, eaten by worms. That said, I cannot put the frog back together, but only keep him in a jar on the same desk in my room where he spent most of his (living)days.
