Not enough money for toilet paper in the parks. BYOTP.

(Are you threatening me?? I am the great Cornholio!)

Only slightly more serious, Caltrans is out of money too.

Withhold pay from all legislators and their senior staffers until they pass a budget. We could buy a lot of TP with that.

I wasn't too clear on what I said. We dont get money from caltrans, we supply the contractors with concrete for the jobs that they are doing for caltrans. I see how much waste there is. They will order 10-20 yards more than they need so they get paid more and caltrans doesnt seem to care.

I dont want to sound like myself or the company I work for is involved in the waste that goes on. We can only give them what they order.

The same waste goes on at alot of the schools.

I'm mortified that the Firesign Theater album cover (yes album, as in vinyl) remeniscent of AlanK's reply is what prevented me from posting the same pictures. I'm guessing that most (many?) SGMDF members are too young to remember "How can you be in two places, etc..."

FWIW, my son, who turns 21 next month, has the album memorized. (Yes, I have the album, as in vinyl, but he knows it as a CD... and there are probably many on this board too young to remember CDs  )

And who really started this?

Fabius Maximus (after whom the Fabian Society was named)

You must have a helluva turntable. On mine, the plastic wrap interferes with the stylus something awful.

I have no idea what any of you are talking about. I did grow up with records, though.

I recognized Marx and Lenin.

Here is a picture of a walrus.

He has a wife, you know. Do you know what she's called?
