Three TR's in one.

Zach invited me to go watch the meteor shower from the top of Baldy, so off we went.

We got up there around 3am I think... right? Slept a couple hours and headed down in the morning. Then I drove home, picked up gear, and went to meet up with Miguel to do Lower Cucamonga Canyon.

Though there was only one rapp, and a lot of people, it was much more fun than I thought it would be.

Then I picked up Zach and we headed to Tina's to go up to Lone Pine.

Hi Taco,
You have been around every corner of mountains last weekend.

I have a favor to ask. Where did you see the sticker? I want to remove it if I can find the location. Since I don't understand what it said. I don't want to mixed it up with rest of the trash. The sticker was made by my friends for my personal event with their good intention. It really means a lot to me.
I understand everyone has a right of own but I don't want to mixed my Friend's good intention with trash like that.

Please remove this picture from your post if you don't mind.

Sure thing, Shin.

It's in the register on the Ski Hut trail.

Hi Taco,
Thank you very much for your super quick reply and kind consideration.

Did you enjoy the view of north face of Mt. Russell's?
I came down through Sakai Col, just below Mt. Russell, two weeks ago.
There are many good rock walls to climb on south side, too.

Thank you again.

I was too spent to go up Russell, so I was unable to see any features on the peak. I only hiked up to 500m from the summit of Carillon.

I need to get in better shape to do well in the Sierra, in that area at least. Going up Carillon reminded me of when I started doing bigger hikes in the SG's.

I wouldnt mind checking out those waterfalls in Cucamonga. Always wondered how hard it is to get past waterfall#2 ,aka lower Cucamonga Falls, though.

How restricted was the parking Taco? I read that some of those streets were being restricted.

Well, I got a ticket for parking on Skyline Drive. Parking a street or two to the west seems to be the way to go. There are signs on the lightposts (which we didn't see) that said one needs a permit to park where we did.

I would like to do the entire length of Cucamonga Canyon when I've got some static ropes handy.

Nice mix and match.

We were treated to a great skyshow.
Hope you weren't too pooped to see it!
