Yup, the first photo...left: Little Mermaid...middle:west twin 5014 right: pk4065 mermaids(call it western pk4065). The second photo was taken from Redbox-Rincon road. The third one is looking at twin peaks.

In case the twin peaks was too far away...

well..its certainly steeper than that....

It's on the old Mt Lukens Trail in Haines Canyon below the Mt Lukens Road

roughly here

367FT from where the trail leaves the road @34.26865,-118.24934,4053ft (WGS84)

:) :D   8)

At least for me this just ain't fair.... I've summited Mt Lukens 1019 times I've kept track of.... You could probably triple or quadruple that at a minimum for actual trips in and around the area.
Matt, you nailed it! Dang, you're good! That's a great trail... probably has less shade now and the bug is probably not blue anymore :)

Is that pre or post fire?? The water looks muddy and ashy, but the brush looks...well, not burned.

1 December 2007, well before the fire. I WISH it looked like this today. I imagine there's more water in the reservoir today though.

You only need to be 'close' on this one. Think general area. It is in the San Gabriels.
