Awesome. Sounds amazing.

I'm assuming this won't come with a conventional manual transmission. Seems to be the norm for high-end sports cars like the GT-R to have those damned paddle-shifting setups instead. Kills the fun. More efficient doesn't mean more fun.

MSRP: $220,000-$400,000

165 allocated for Japan domestic market, 335 for the rest of the world. In Japan, Toyota is mentioning buyer's 'qualification'. It sounds like beyond enough money and driver's license  - maybe a race experience or...?

Something like what Ferrari does with their order process? (I'm going by word of mouth)

Also, cool link: http://ww2.lexus-lfa.com/Configurator_v2_en.html
Takes a while to load. Configure yer own exterior and interior.

Also out of Toyota, the FT-86:

Subaru/Toyota project. Kinda sorta based on the AE86 generation Corolla, except with a Boxer engine, IRS, and whatnot.

Ceramics gets a little boring sometimes. You can always think of the San Gabriels.

Yes. That is my interpretation of what the LA basin will look like when we all get infected with the CraZies virus and the government has to nuke it.

And I will be the first to drive, errr, walk my car to the top of Baldy.

Now if I could just find crampons, I will be the first in winter as well.

Good ol' sunny (read: shitty) Fort Benning.

From what he told me, he was disarming an IED on a road in Afghanistan when he uncovered an anti-handling device* (some Russian Claymore-type AP device) blew up. He remembers that, and then being in a hospital in CONUS.

*Anti Handling devices are something you place near a mine to keep someone from messing with it. Think of placing an anti-personel mine under an anti-tank mine.

Very cool. Looked a little sketchy topping out inside that bush/tree. I am gonna have to learn to ice climb someday.

If my French is correct, I think they were complaining about the length of the approach.
