It might be a bitch. Are you going for sure? If so, I can mark key points along the route with glow sticks, which you can grab on the way up.
Up Icehouse Canyon until you can see the canyon between Ontario and Sugarloaf. Cross stream heading direct south, then ascend Falling Rock Canyon. Canyon splits higher up into two seperate canyons, the left going to the summit of Ontario, and the right is a miserable scree ramp that heads to the saddle between Sugarloaf and Ontario. Take the miserable route! Reach saddle, then make a right, heading northwest along the ridge. Follow trail until you hit the final bump, which is the summit of Sugarloaf.
It might be a bit much alone at night for a first time person. There are some waterfall sections you'd want to bypass. Do you have a GPS? Are you comfortable with class 3 at night, alone? Are you at all able to meet us at the trailhead at 8pm?
