Accidentally ran across this article about the "most dangerous national forest in America".

Interesting quote (read article for more context)...

It's another 30 minutes before I can comprehend that I'm still in Los Angeles County. This realization comes suddenly, though, when a yahoo in a Japanese sports car comes at me off a curve just below Red Box in a two-wheel drift, passing so close I can see the combination of belligerence and panic in his eyes.

Maybe another installment of Angeles Forest 'transportation' is in order. To be fair, I cant just discriminate against Highway 39 and cars.

oh hell yeah, way illegal! illegal illegal illegal! you were probably 12! driving like a maniac on Starbucks CAFFEINE! probably up on GRR sipping on some latte and taking in GU and taking out cyclists!
