Hi All,
This will be my second attempt to get a group hike for all us Baldy lovers. We will hike Olancha Peak Saturday June 13th as a day hike. I'll leave Friday the 12th from Yorba Linda, I can fit 3 people in my Tundra comfortably. You can email me at jeff.scofield@newport.com

I've been wanting to do Olancha for some time.
I'll be over in Ponderosa across the valley to the west that weekend. We are going to hike to the 3 fire lookouts there. Mule Peak, Jordan Peak and the ever so impressive Needles.
To bad you're not going on the 27th.
I'd be there in a heart beat.
Langley in early August.

Richard - a fellow member and I were just talking about doing Langley very soon. But wouldn't mind waiting till August if your up for a couple tag-alongs. What say you?Richard N. wrote:Langley in early August.

Once I zero in on a date, I'll let you know.
I'm all for company on the trail. It makes for a more enjoyable outing.
Have you ever done Langley???
Route finding is the key once you hit the rock wall SW of the final ridge line.
2 years ago while hiking through Cottonwood basin, I had a tree fall about 100 yards from me. The sound was unbelievable.
