Hiked up to Strawberry Peak from the Colby Canyon TH to Josephine Saddle and up the 3rd class west ridge, descending via the east ridge to Red Box. Took a car shuttle back to Colby.
Trail is in great condition. Quite a bit of snow (6 to 8 inches in some areas) left over along the ridges but didn't present any problems - was not icy and is melting fast.
We started around 7:30, crossed paths with 3 guys descending the west ridge. Once on the peak, 3 guys came up via the east ridge. As we descended the east ridge we passed a total of about 20 people and their dogs. Reached Red Box around 12:00. ACH looked like the 405 freeway - a busy day in the mountains.

Zoiks. That was a fast comment!
I don't have a camera, but will get one soon. Gives me a reason to revisit all the peaks again!
This link shows Brennen's route up the west ridge. There are two class 3 sections along the ridge. They are fun and the final one up to the peak has some surprising exposure.
