It's a dream of mine to spend a year or so in Japan, seeing everything about their history, their cities, automotive subjects and sports... and climbing everything I could find during winter. These images quantify what's in my head regarding the mountains of Japan.

Hello, Taco.

I had an impression you're interested in Japan... I've been thinking about posting a story about unique Japanse hiking culture. I'm requesting a permission to a Japanse blogger to introduce his site here. From time to time = when I have time, will do that.

Doesn't Hiking Jim hang out here anymore? He's done some hiking in Japan, too. He probably has to go back ever once in a while to visit his in-laws.

Michiko and I were going to go back this year to visit her family, but then she became pregnant. Let's say my focus upon learning that little fact has shifted some. That and I'm nursing a knee injury.
