Has anyone ever bothered to scramble up to Hoyt Mt. from Georges Gap?

Augie has a summitpost mountain page, I am not sure if it is what you are looking for, but his Route 1: East Ridge looks to me to start from Geroge's Gap.

I have several times. Just hop on the very steep ridge that starts at the trailhead parking lot and continue until you reach the high point (as I recall there is even a register there). It's a short ascent. I've also climbed it from its west ridge starting at the Grizzly Flat trailhead. The views are nice. Travis gave you the link to my SP page and there are photos of the views there.
