For those not yet aware, the MRCA owns that pullout across from Barret Stoddard rd. That's all they own. Just that little pullout. And the way the use that tiny bit of land is to put up no-parking signs, and then to patrol that one pullout to write tickets. Bleh.

Thanks for the report. I've never been to the falls, but I've taken the trail around them several times. Each time I'm shocked it's still there. How far past the trail are the falls?

HikeUp: the water tank on the ridge towards the right of your photo is the West end of Barley Flats. The same tank is visible in one of courtney's photos. I still don't see it in your photo, though. It might be just out of view, or maybe behind something, since it's a very different angle.

Also, I joined the Lowelifes a few weeks ago to work on this trail. They're mostly done with the section below Valley Forge. Above valley forge they want to reroute the trail, and they're talking to the forest service to get approval. Until that happens (or definitively doesn't happen) that section ...

Given my experience with my inreach, it cannot be relied on to function even in a not-very-deep canyon. Don't get complacent if you're carrying one.

Hi @dima I think we climbed together at stronghold once. Yeah, I saw his posts on this thread which was actually Friday night even though it said “2 days ago”. Can you click on that time stamp and tell me if it was actually Saturday instead of Friday? That would be helpful to clarify. I just looked...

I just checked the tapatalk logs. He last did stuff here at "11:34 PM - 2 days ago". Presumably this means that on Sat night he was in civilization.
