Mt Islip/Lil' Jimmy overnighter

11/29-30/08
We took off saturday afternoon and partied up to little Jimmy trailcamp for one night. Climbed Mt Islip near sunset. It was WINDY.
Mt Hawkins

those toilets are filled to the brim with poo. if i were to use them, my balls would be hitting the frozen pile of poop 3 inches from the seat.

looks like some good summer climbing. saw a lot of bolts.
runs on Waterman. LET IT SNOW!
Williamson rock. fuck those toads. yellowbellied cowards. cant even survive on their own...

Nice! Great pics. I love the snow up there.
I always wondered about that molested snow/rain gauge. It's just so irresistable - how can you not?

looks like we shouldnt climb it due to the high probability of dislodging rocks landing on the road.
why must the san gabriels be 15 million years old?

*science lesson mode* I think the rock is crumbly because of tectonic activity (or Teutonic, all them damn Germans), and it's a young range *science lesson mode off*
Tunnel crags is cool stuff. Loose technical climbs is where it's at, yo.
