Leave Bob alone, he's in the corner minding his own business. Probably a local who helps out with Sturtevant Camp and they decided to give him a keepsake.

Uncle Bob looks like he had one too many, left the safety of his truck and got swept downstream by raging waters

Bob’s Corner also known as the Spruce Grove trail junction or “Bob’s Gap”
Bob’s Corner and the surrounding Chantry Flat trail networks were established during Southern California's "Great Hiking Era" (the 1880s to the late 1930s)
Bob's Corner was historically a vital junction that saw mules and hikers passing through to numerous remote trail resorts, including Hoegee’s Camp and Sturtevant’s Camp
