Winston Ridge, Hillyer, Sally

On Friday, I knocked out more easy HPS peaks off the ACH. I had hiked Winston Peak as a warm up 10 years ago before my first hike with Sean to Twin Peaks. I got the Ridge this time, going over P6903 on the way. It's a nice area with sparse pines. The Winston Ridge register was in a circle of stones. On the way back, I met a deer hunter near P6903. He was worried that I was out in the wilderness without a firearm and that animals might get me. I assured him I had met the animals of the forest and we were at peace. I was more concerned about hunters.

After Hillyer, I stopped at a turnout to walk up the north ridge of Sally. Another short hike with a good trail all the way. Quite a bit of dead poodledog along the trail. Sally is situated not far from Vetter and has similar 360 views.
