Peak 5881 OSM oddity

Morning,
There is a bump in the far northern Gabes, kind of an obscure location northwest of Pacifico Mtn and south of Mt Emma. The coordinates are 34.41351, -118.0581
The USGS has a benchmark of 5881, but then OSM gives different info, and the change-set history has me confused. Including that the elevation seems very off for some reason? makes me curious to go out there and investigate. I don't know that area too well.
Does anyone with Open Street Map editing experience want to check it out and tell me wether I'm crazy or not?

5881 looks like it would be easy to get to from Cole Pt. (which is easy to get to). No trails but relatively easy cross country weaving through the brush.
I think this is a picture of 5881 from Cole (early 2009)...the high point left of center...
Also could probably get to it from the PCT. Somewhere on this forum there is a TR or a planned route to get to Pacifico/PCT from the north (maybe the Mt. Emma area). Their route may have included 5881. Search should work.
OSM - is it really Dima's birthday? lol

If there is one thing you can depend on the Gabes for, its birthday balloons
Next time my birthday surprise for you is going to be a party decorated with every birthday balloon everyone on the board has ever found.

HikeUp and David R - only on this board would I get actual trip reports for the most random obscure bump in the Gabes I could find
I applaud you!
