I saw this pair on the west wall of East Fork, around 1/3 mile south of Iron Fork on 10/18 ~ 1015 PDT. BTW - any idea why the "Hobo Dave" petroglyphs?

Elwood? How close were you to these guys? Or do you have a zoom lens? They sure look gaunt. If you were that close how did you w/o scaring them?

I would estimate being around 130 feet from these o.c. nelsoni. The picture was taken with a Panasonic dmc-fx100 at full optical telephoto zoom. It was cropped from this one, something fairly easy to do with images from this camera. The sheep went a scramblin' up the wall as I approached from the north. They were probably down for a drink. I'm sorry Sheep.

Ya. That makes sense. 12.2megapixel.
Who needs a zoom?!
Your pic makes it look like you are 15 feet away!
