Aspens and Old Roads: An Exploratory Hike

If you've got a Forest Service (not USGS) map of the San Gorgonio Wilderness, you may notice that the trailhead for Aspen Grove is shown quite a bit further downstream from today's trailhead and that the trailhead is reached via a road coming from the vicinity of the old Heart Bar Ranger Station. This past Friday my friend Christian and I set out to see if we could find and follow the old road to Fish Creek and Aspen Grove and take a few photos of the aspens in their fall glory.
