Fox Creek, Monrovia, Little Santa Anita? I'm open for suggestions. Please email me if interested, won't be able to check the board Friday night through Saturday night.

Pasadena Glen sounds interesting(havent been there)...are you going to hike up the firebreak since the toll road is closed?

The toll road is closed?

I once tried to get on the "disused fire road" that Brennen used to get from Henninger to Pasadena Glen. I got maybe 10 feet before calling it a day.

Guess its been closed since 2005, but this was the one the money was approved to repair starting in Oct 2008 thru Apr 2009. I agree that the disused road onto Pasadena Glen from Henniger is less than enticing. Brennan lists an escape ridge and it seems a possibility to just use that to gain entrance to the canyon.

Ah, ok - thought that was what you were referring to. "Officially" closed but the official unofficial status is "use at your own risk", according to rumors I am trying to spread.

Nothing stopping you from going up the toll road. Getting into Pasadena Glen, though, might be easier by taking the fire break up (as you say) or maybe drop down from high point 3681 to the disused fire road via that same fire break.

Yeah if they are working on that road, then I'll steer clear. But if its still in its "used at your own risk" condition thats ok.

That pano is really cool, I dig the other ones too.

Anyway, I'll save this one for a weekend with nicer weather.
