Found this cool mushroom on the trail in San Bernardino

It is hard to tell anything by this picture as it does not show the entire mushroom and it appears quite old and desiccated, but it looks as if it might be amanita ocreata or amanita smithiana, both deadly poisonous. Ocreata is referred to as the "destroying angel."
