Hiker dies from heat exhaustion

The man who died on Monday was a member of one of the hiking groups that I hike with. I didn't know him well but it's very sad. He was an older gentleman. I will not release his name.
Please, please remember to hydrate. Drink plenty of water on the trails. It's ALWAYS a good idea to carry more than you think you need especially on hot days when there is no water source available. You never know when you might be stranded or run into trouble like this group.
I don't know all the specifics yet, but I heard that the entire group ran out of water.
