WOW! I saw this type of snake cross my path years ago as I was hiking in the Mt. Pacifico area. I didn't know the name of this snake.

Red touches black, safe for Jack. Red touches yellow, kills a fellow.
Beautiful mountain king snake. Haven't seen one of those for awhile.
