Prelude to Ladyface Ribbon Route

Exactly a year ago I hiked the infamous Ladyface Ribbon Route. It was a tough hike that included hiking all four ridges around Ladyface and bagging it twice. Stats 10 miles.

We decided to re-visit the peak this time completing half of the original route by ascending her south face and descending her north face. It was a carpool shuttle. Again we started at Paramount Ranch, where many Westerns are filmed. After the Woosley fire, it was sad to see the devastation. Everything burned except for the Church and another small building on the lot. I decided not to post all of the burned stuff on the lot because it was depressing. On a positive note. It was nice to see green areas and signs of re-growth.
It was obvious that we were the first ones on this trail and pretty much made our own being careful not to fall off the edge. It was more dangerous than it looks.
Hiking down one of the ridges again making our own trail along the razor edge.
The top of Ladyface's south ridge.
Descending the North Ridge back to Kanan.
