Does anyone know if the gate to Switzers picnic area is closed because of the shutdown? I saw a post on Instagram that showed the road to Millard Canyon is closed. It's already been posted on this forum that the gates to Chantry Flats are closed. Question #2 - Is there any rhyme or reason as to which gates get closed? Thanks!

Sometimes they shut down places for health reasons. I believe Chantry had to do with the water going bad. They probably aren't able to test or treat it right now.
