EISPIRATEN

It's still hot but I managed a half day in Anza-Borrego searching for pictographs and climbing Grunt BM. The highlight was a pair of bighorn rams, one bashing his head against to cactus to break it open and eat the juicy insides. I didn't know they did that. Link to video at the end.

That's no flapjack rabbit, but still pretty cool.

According to the title of this discussion, I thought I was going to get to see bighorn chow down on cactus AND one jackrabbit!

Haha! I'm trying to imagine that situation.

A fine looking herd. Looks like they let you get really close.

You have to sneek up on em but they're somewhat used to humans. In the summer they lose that winter coat and look like the ones you photographed.
