Baldy via Register Ridge 8-30-08

Today I did my first hike in a month. Yep, the last hike I did was Whitney from Horseshoe Meadows. The reason for the layoff was that I was too busy, not hurt, tired, or burned out. I was getting antsy, though.
So, I did Mts. Harwood and Baldy via Register Ridge, returning via the Ski Hut Trail. It was hot at the start (high 80s) but cooled off nicely later (low 70s), even at the trail head. I managed a decent pace -- 1.5 hours to Harwood and 2 hours to Baldy. It sure felt slower!

I was hoping to get to Baldy on Monday for the run, but it's not in the cards.
