Fun! Ames is the bipedal-walking-robots guy, so I guess being able to walk the PCT would be a good test :)

I'll schedule a meetup with the motorcycle group to ride the PCT and check this out....or should I get a whole bunch of dirt bikers?

Looks cool, but I hope they realize that motorized and mechanical equipment are not allowed on the PCT. And drones are not allowed in national parks and wilderness areas.

Ah. Well, I wouldn't be surprised if they receive a special use permit for research. But the PCT runs through many different jurisdictions. So they might need multiple permits in each state.
