Hi all,

Just wondering if anyone has explored the portion of the creek that runs below Hermit Falls, near Chantry Flats? While I've seen many reports from ABOVE Hermit Falls-I'm most interested in the portion between Hermit Falls and the Reservoir/dam.

Thanks!

I've been down there before. After a cabin it starts to get progressively more overgrown. There may be some old mines down there, but it's tough terrain the further south you travel.

You can go all the way to the start of the reservoir, where there are signs indicating you are not welcome. It's a nice Canyon, I'd recommend it.

There are a few very steep use trails heading up towards the road, but I think out-and-back is the best option.
