I was at Dawson Saddle this weekend, and decided to take a quick detour up to Mt. Lewis. The peak is as before, but the register is in tatters. I didn't find the can, but there were many torn out blank pages strewn around. I found the front cover, and the only piece with writing was this corner:

So, David G and Sarah, you're good. The rest of you need a do-over.

Sasquatch? :D Perhaps it thought someone recorded a sighting or thought the writing was a hunting diary? Or it scrawled "Me.Sasquatch.Visit" and then ripped it up. That tear could be evidence.

In 1966, newspaper reports told of a girl pawed by a seven-foot-tall, slime-covered beast in the Lytle creek wash...
Oh, wow! Sasquatch rip register 'cause girl reject Sasquatch.
