EISPIRATEN

Another first for me. I have never seen this color of fungus. Found it hiking near Rubio Canyon in Altadena.

I'm not a mycologist but I will go with witches' butter, tremella sp.

I read the links you shared. It did have a gelatinous yellow- orange fruit body. At first I thought it was the fruit of a disgarded orange until I got a closer look. Very interesting
