A little tardy with this TR from a snowy day on Baldy last week. Snow in May. Who knew?

Great photos as usual, and a great way to celebrate. My favorite shot is "Yucca with Snow", looks like something out of a cartoon. The news reported 2 inches of snow on Baldy, ummm, not.

I too was grateful for the chance to get in a couple of snow hikes after the late season flurries which fortunately fell for us. Eerily bereft of other hikers, just as you enjoyed.

May snow on Baldy is rare, but not unheard of.
