Yucca plants in bloom ..

And it's over.


Yesterday the Yuccas up high were dried up with blooms wilting in the heat.
Only the ones down low or in the shade still had some blooms.
I also hear that they bloom every few years or so, don't know about that ..

This must be the "year of the Yucca." There are blooming Yuccas ALL OVER THE PLACE. Even friends of mine who aren't mountains people are commenting "hey what are all of those?" as we drive by hillsides with wild vegetation. There are so many of them right now.

Must'a been all that water. SUpposed ot have ended or severely cut back on that drought (the one called Southern California). 8)
