News reports that the hiking trails are being taken over by the fire, starting from west to east. With no defensible space, its looking grim for the mountains there.

Currently watching the hills on the south side of Chevy Chase (east of the 2) burn.

Glendale/Eagle Rock area.

F'in miserable. Anyone know how the springs fire started? Apparently by the road. Some clown probably threw a smoke out their window.

Looks to be a tough fire season. My biggest concerns in the SGs are Big Santa Anita and what's left of the High Country

And there's another fire out by Banning. Super freaking dry.
