1st 2012 canyon run

This is my 9th time in 8 months runnin to the other side of the colorado n back. I took the south kaibab trail this time. Its 14 miles round trip.
heres some pics. My time was 74 minutes down, 2hr 25 up. I mostly walked up and enjoyed the day and checked out the views for once :)

I know you people like elevation n distance graphs n stuff so here ya go, a ele. chart! ;)

nice pics. looks like a fun trail to have in your backyard. some friends of mine are doing r2r2r in March and your pics give a good picture of just how daunting a trip that would be. maybe i'll go along and just do r2river2r! :)

@ 666- nope, i wont get tired of it. Ive only done 4 trails in the canyon. And only gone as far as Ribbon Falls (that was 32 round trip) theres lots of other trails I have yet to check out. I'm thinking of going to the other side in a week or 2. On monday im going to Cottonwood camp, thats past ribbon falls, but a few miles (6 i think?) from the top of the other side. Anywho...Yes ill put up pix when its all snowy, if it gets snowy! Its been 55-60 degrees here with no rain or snow at all forcast for the whole month
