Anyone have any experience with DeLorme inReach?

Decided to purchase the inReach. I have used it on the Ski Hut Trail, and in the local Chino Hills State Park. Works as advertised. Pleased with it so far. Only weighs 8 oz. Planning on using it on a High Sierra Trail loop and later on a Jackson Hole to Lake of the Woods romp. I hike solo and it appeases my wife and family.

I love my inReach, as you stated it keeps the wife happy and she can stalk me while I climb. The only thing I havent figured out is where do I look to see how many messages I have left for that pay cycle.

How's it work in canyons, under trees, underground, etc?
