How come Fallen Springs is listed on the topo but has less water than the no name spring just up the road, on Highway 39?
Who came up with these names anyway? Can we just rename them?
Such as Crystal Lake to Not So Crystal Anymore Lake.
Whats the fastest speed on Hwy39 achieved that didnt end off the road?

Explain the philosophy/psycology behind "N+1".
Where "N" is something you want.
Example: You buy a standard ice axe ("N"). However, after a few romps in the San Gabriel Mtns you decide you also need an axe with a shorter shaft for steeper slopes ("N+1", which becomes the new "N"). Then you decide you need an ice tool for the really vertical stuff ("N+1" again). This progresses on and on until you die or have bought every type and size of ice axe and ice tool available.
Can also be applied to cars, bicycles, boots, sleeping bags, stoves , tents, sunglasses, etc.
(uh, spare us the podcasts on bowel movements, please!)

If you were on a search & rescue team that was called to an incident with a driver off the side of Glendora Mountain Road, and, upon rappelling to the victim, you also found the tricked-out Subaru WRX STi that he was driving, which would you save first?
