Yer usual Eaton Canyon trip. We all had a great time! A couple of the pools were shallower than last trip down. The last rapp anchor was made of the kind of webbing you find on backpacks. We replaced it with some green webbing.

This is the first downclimb where you go between the huge rock and the canyon wall. We found an anchor and rapped off that to see if it was better. Nah, not really. Downclimbing was much less awkward and much faster as well.

My retrievable anchor setup. This is the awkward rapp everyone knows. The webbing was removed by someone and used to make batman ropes for guys who climb up the falls.

Very, very nice. The pictures are particularly refreshing in light of today's 100F + lunchtime hike above Brand Park.

You ain't kidding. We had HOT breezes flow through the canyon when we got about halfway down. That put it into perspective.
